Courses in Thai Yoga Massage
Sunshine Network New Zealand offers a very comprehensive range of courses in TYM with 4 Levels of Training, from Beginners Courses up to Instructor Level. Each level consisting of a number of individual courses. So you can do as little or much as you want.
The six courses that make up the "Thai Massage Master" diploma course are:
- Beginners,
- General Advanced,
- Advanced Techniques,
- Lines and Points,
- Side Position
- Completion
Each course being the equivalent of 60 hrs training.

N.B. Although the training is recognized you still may need to meet other local requirements to practice.
Accommodation
Local Motel Accommodation is available and if students wish to share a unit, it can work out cheaper.
The courses are held on a 10 acre property called "Soulhearth"
Basic "marae" style, (Futons on the floor) self-catered, accommodation, is offered with Internet and cooking facilities, available. There is also plenty of space to pitch a tent if required. Soulhearth is situated on the outskirts of Papakura Auckland, close to the 14,000-hectare Hunua Ranges Regional Park and about 30 mins by car from the city centre. The park features tramping and mountain biking tracks, swimming pools and some amazing scenery.
The Centre is also only 40 mins away from large surf beaches and only a few hours from the winter ski fields and the thermal wonders of the central North Island. The property is about 3 kms from Papakura shopping centre, and about 25 minutes (by car) from Auckland Airport. The property is also home to a dog, 7 hives of bees, a bath full of composting worms and some humans as well. Lavender is grown on the property for oil production.
